Our Story

We drew our inspiration from our little girl. During her first year in this world, seeing the curiosity she had, we wondered if she would ever get to truly know her ancestor’s language; Arabic. We wanted her to get a taste of home. We wanted her to feel the richness of the Arabic language. 

We reckoned cushions can be part of everyday life, in any home decor. It can be placed in the living room, bedroom, loft, anywhere in the house! It can serve as a reminder of the beautiful language, the great poetry, and the strong roots that we hope to build a family off of. 

Just like that, Mauj Living was born. We picked a handful of beautiful and traditional poems and decided to express them through embroidered calligraphy.

We hope to bring warmth, meaning, and a sense of pride to your home through our unique pieces. Our goal is to turn your house into a home. Our cushion covers are responsibly made with love from our family to yours.
